ADA Playground & PIP Surfacing
Project Scope
Medley Sports Construction completed a new playground construction project at Marsh Park in partnership with Lake County Parks and Water Resources. The project included demolition of the existing play area and installation of a new 2–12 playground, bay swings, an ADA wheelchair swing, and poured-in-place (PIP) safety surfacing.
Description of Work
The addition of ADA-accessible play equipment and impact-absorbing surfacing ensures a safer and more inclusive environment for children of all abilities. The upgraded playground enhances Marsh Park’s role as a community destination, complementing its access to Lake Yale, shaded picnic areas, and outdoor recreation opportunities.
